Supported Living Services

SLS are designed for people who need more assistance in basic life skills to maintain their independence. Clients receiving SLS are supported in making decisions that shape the nature and quality of their lives in accordance with their preferences and consistent goals.

SLS may include:

  • Assistance with selecting and moving into a home.

  • Choosing personal attendants and housemates.

  • Acquiring household furnishings.

  • Common daily living activities and emergencies.

  • Becoming a participating member in community life.

  • Managing personal financial affairs, as well as other supports.

Supported Living Services also provide:

Assistance Medical

Assistance with public benefit issues (SSI, Social Security, IHSS, MediCal, and MediCare)

Atention 24/7 Emergency

Access to a 24-hour emergency system for people who cannot respond to emergencies independently.

Integral Assistance

Assistance in finding suitable housemates and Assistance in finding and securing affordable, accessible, and safe housing

SLS provides access to a 24-hour emergency system for people who cannot respond to emergencies independently.
