Behavior Analyst Services
At Sentry Living Solutions, we strive to provide meaningful services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. Our Behavior Analyst services provide support for individuals and their families who are experiencing behavioral challenges at home, at school or in the community. We emphasize the importance of socially significant behavior change and work with the individual’s support team to provide the best intervention that will have lasting results.
Behavior Consultation and Training:
All of our behavior consultation and training services begin with an assessment. The assessment allows us to identify areas of strength as well as problem behaviors that prevent individuals from reaching their full potential. Through this process we look at the individual’s environment, history of their behavior and previous treatment in order to create an individualized treatment plan which may include any or all of our behavior analysis services.
Behavior consultation and training for Individuals who live with their families: This service is for individuals who live with their families and can include training to improve social skills, emotion regulation and coping skills, adaptive daily living skills, functional communication, and to decrease problem behavior. Research suggests that in order to create socially significant behavior change, those who support the individual (such as parents, siblings, support workers and other caregivers) should also be trained in the interventions so that the intervention translates to all environments and all people. Because of this, Sentry’s treatment model consists of hands-on coaching and training for those who support the individual through an individualized program that takes into consideration your family’s unique needs and schedule.
Behavior consultation for individuals who live independently or with a care provider(s): This service is for individuals who live independently or with a care provider(s). This service can include hands-on coaching and training for the individual as well as any support workers or other caregivers to improve social skills, emotion regulation and coping skills, adaptive daily living skills, functional communication, and to decrease problem behavior. Each program is individualized and is designed to meet your unique needs.
